I think Vacuumland has been updated! I’m still getting used to it but it looks really great! My only question is where can I find the vacuum of the day? I haven’t seen it.

This was a shock! I loved the original design. I'm sure this is easier to maintain as a webmaster, so that's good for the long term health of the website.

Can anyone see the Miscellanea forum? I just renewed my membership a few weeks ago but it looks like I'm locked out.

Well I will try this again. I was typing a message and suddenly my page changed to a vacuum advertising page??? What a change after not checking the site out for 2 days. It will take some getting used to. I did check out the info on my account and I found a few errors which I had to correct. I also haven't found a way to see how many remaining days on my paid membership? With all the advertising I see, it seems to think I am not a paid member? or is advertising something we not have to see as a paid member?

For a time yesterday, I could view the site, but I could not log in because my password was not being accepted. Thankfully, that seems to have been corrected. I'm still exploring and getting the feel for the new site, but there's a lot to like here, although I do miss the Vacuum of the Day. Funny thing, I must have had a premonition this was coming, because I felt the inexplicable need Wednesday night to copy some of the information from my personal profile over to my computer. Glad I did, because now it's gone.

Update: It turns out the password issue was isolated to just one of my computers, where an incorrect password was stored. I was able to correct the problem once checked it against what was stored on another machine.

What was lost? I can't find the old collections albums on the front page. archive.org didn't seem to catch most of those.
