So I am sitting in our Office when my wife comes in from been on the road, All excited She tells me I cannot get up she has a surprise for me.

I get lead blindfolded to our showroom and see these.

Joanne was in Fish Hoek Small sleepy Sea town near Cape Town and went to few second hand shops When she saw these and bought them for me.

The Early Nilfisk I have only ever seen one at the HQ of Nilfisk in Cape Town may years ago.

I have never seen the Electrix before

It seems the Electrix is actually a blower of some sort. Still rather cool I am busy working on it now.

The Nilfisk will need to be sent for re chroming and the top buffed

Congratulations on these new finds - and there was me thinking your wife did not approve of your collection :)

(Not really, its just the impression from the TV program)

This ad is currently up on ebay UK, that unit is indeed a blower. I wish the ad was a bit clearer so I could see the address - I have never seen or heard any other reference to this company

Yes Fire Cracker films did a very good job of twisting and manipulating what we said into what they wanted to have. They were on a mission to make us out as nutty crazy Hoarders who will stop at nothing to get our next vacuum fix. I learnt my lesson and can tell you I just feel sorry for anyone else been filmed by this company and how they will dramatize  everything they can just to make a TV show more appealing. I was not expecting this from a National Geographic program but any how. Been the first time we were filmed we were at a loss. They would ask us a question and we would give an answer , then they would say Great but rather say it like this ,, To make it sound more interesting. Any how its over now Damage done we move on.

Joanne is not only my partner in our vacuum business and works with me every day there, she is also responsible for some of my coolest finds. She found me my Hoover constellation, a Hoover 612, a few of my Hoover turbo powers and these plus many more. She is always on the look out for them when she is on the road going to see our customers.

I can't think finding things like that at second hand shops is very common, for anywhere in the world. I know they will look very shinny and new once your done with them. Do either of them run?
