I REALLY HATE THE CHEAP ASDA VAC! its £12 really brand new its all smashed
My Auntie has a vax ultrixx cylinder vo-96 it loses suction after 1 room! i have to throw the filter smack it like im smashing it the vac8um is indestructible! then its like a good vac then again after a little bit of dust theres hair and 1 inch of dust around the filter its so thick u cant even see or tell if its a filter! there's also a plastic knob on the top u have to turn and the dust comes out it doesn't get it all out tho yes i have washed the filters its 4 years old from new and still works

Morphy richards orb is worse than the vax it does the same things and cant pick up anything! it used to be like £50 now its £20 lol wow

Dyson dc05!!! im suprised as its a dyson i had 17 dysons in my life and its worse than the dc03 i basically bought iot for £4 it worked i cleaned it up and then vacuumed my front room and it BLEW UP!!! i wish i was recording it and put the film on youtube upload it and then it would be great it covered half the front room in smoke i then chucked it down the stairs 3 times when i was annoyed with hit its a strong dyson! i smashed it then lol

i think my best vac i got is the dc04 lime and dc08 has the strongest suction but should have a motorhead! best vac i used was a 6140 vax pet my mum had then it broke she has a dc04 lime and dc01 is good aswell the best vacuum i ever used was dc07 allergy with the non clutched head! better than the dc04 but heavier

i used dyson henry vax zanussi electrolux dirt devil hoover goblin morphyrichards hitachi sorry its not alot but i used some loads of em and i cant remember

You're thread would be easier to understand if you put commas in the sentences and worded it a little better.

It is a bit hard to decipher in the way it is currently written.

I agree with you about the Asda cleaner. They are not made well at all.

The worst vacuums are the Euro-Pro Fantoms, Bissell Powersteamer series, even the Dirt Devil Ultra Hand Vac.

@turbomaster84 Yes I agree!

I've checked his profile, and he is 14, which probably explains why he want into a fit of rage when the Dyson stopped working - Immaturity.

I've NEVER thrown any Vacuum Cleaner down the stairs when it doesn't work.

Even the 2007 HOOVER Dust Manager that lost all its suction then had electrical issues got a dignified death of being left out for the bin men, not thrown down the stairs three times.

Honestly - Get a grip man!

Even if the motor did blow, you could have gotten the motor changed, or sold it on eBay as spares or repairs instead of being childish.

I Must Confess:

That a certain Hoover Powermax canister gave me so much trouble, over so many different issues, that it was broken up before being tossed. It was not a fit of rage - it was a desire to see to it that no one else was ever frustrated or endangered by the horrible thing again.

The major issue was that the cord of the power nozzle was designed to exit the power head in such a way that the cord would drag the carpet and wear through very quickly. Now, I am a very careful person, and I kept an eye out for the problem, and when the cord showed signs of wear, I would shorten the cord or replace it. But after the fifth or so time it happened, I sent the evil thing to the dump, in pieces - a less careful, average user might well have had a fire.

Not going against people just saying that I know Parwaz786 personally. He is a nice person and does look after his vacs. He smashes them if they are no good or beyond repair which is just going to happen at the dump. All the vacs he has smashed are no good anymore and most the people on here dont really like dyson and cheapo vacs anyhow!
Nobody is perfect!

As for me the worst one I used was a Bush cylinder that stopped working after 5 uses. The best is my kirby at the moment.

Parwaz786 is only a kid so if his post contains a couple of errors, so what. Also he may not be able to afford putting a new motor in the machine, especially if he picked up the machine at such a cheap price, perhaps his parents didn't allow him to do anything with it after it blew, so renders the machine useless to him.

Parwaz, sorry to hear that your Dyson DC05 blew up. I have to say that these Dysons are quite good machines and we have a DC05 that I used to clean the house with, now it resides to being used as a car vacuum and had been fine. The motor blew up in our DC05 after 2 and half years use so I purchased a new one and put it in, this was in 2007, its been fine since. The DC27 is my main machine and use the DC16 handheld for quick jobs. I also have a Sebo Felix that I like to use for a through groom of the carpets as it has a very good brush roll. On the subject of cheap machines, I have used a Bush & Vax bagless (no cyclone) machines and these used to lose suction after vacuuming 2 rooms, they were hopeless. I used a Vax Mach Air and its on par with Dyson.

I understand that his parents perhaps wouldn't allow him to do anything else with it, but that doesn't make it right to throw it down the stairs three times, and possibly damaging his parents house while he's at it!

What if it had tumbled into a wall and took a big chunk of plaster out ? I'm sure his parents wouldn't have been happy with that.

Hes not the only one trust me! I know many people do it to try and prove dysons dont break. Dont worry about it!

Hit a sebo with a hammer. And then hit a dyson. It just bounces straight back off the dyson, it leaves a big dent in the sebo..

It's incredibly hard to try and decipher what the actually discussion is here. Being "just a kid" (by the way, 14 is not a kid. 4 maybe, but not 14!) is hardly an excuse to post anything about smashing vacuums up on a forum designed for enthusiasts of such appliances, let alone one that doesn't make any sense.

Baglessball, I think can of a few other things I'd rather hit with a hammer LOL. I'd love to know why in the heck you've been taking hammers to vacuums that cost £200+ to discover this in the first place.

I have a very interesting video to put up in regards to Sebo and Dyson. Keep your eyes peeled, I'll make a post about it once I've uploaded it.

You know what it's like when your younger, you have to test these things!

I like sebo. I just wish there. Uprights had higher suction. (I'm a sucker for power!) there brushrolls are great, I used to use these for a contract cleaning company. You stab them up an they run off!

I totally agree Chris.

"You know what it's like when your younger, you have to test these things!" So why have I NEVER intentionally damaged a Vacuum Cleaner in my whole life then ? Even when I had cleaners I hated I never even kicked them, let alone pushing them down the stairs multiple times.
