Wireless Vac-u-ette Grip Repair - I Hope It Works!

Well, I was just at the local yokel Kirby store the other day and what should I find to my horror?! You guessed it -- Some evil doer from the deepest, darkest part of Tartarus had somehow managed to smash the Vac-u-ette handgrip to this vicinity's Kirby Grand Dragon ( AKA ) Head Honcho, The Big Cheese himself . As you can imagine the caterwauling which ascended to the highest heaven which is still reverberating around the world to this very day. But, nevertheless, fear not, I fabricated a new one. It seems to be a halfway decent fix.

Since this is about Vac-u-ettes

How long was the Vac-u-ette made?
How long was the Model C Vac-u-ette made?
Were there other models ( A B C D ) ?
If the bag has The New Vac-u-ette in red on the bag does this help date the machine?
I've also noticed some have a triangle badge and some have a rectangular badge.

I have a vacuette. It's been at the vacuum shop getting worked on for a few years now. I mentioned it to the owner. It's still down there after all this time haha.

I'll have to see what kind of progress he may or may not have made. It doesn't wind up anymore.

If memory serves, the model A was most probably the Ezee. The model B had a white to off white bag and a larger rectangular exhaust port in its rear with a rectangular front tag.  It had a production run, somewhere, between 1916 - 1919. James has that one in his collection. Just put model B in the search box and you'll have no problem finding it. The model C is the first one pictured in the photo. It had a production run from 1919 - 1920. The second Vac-u-ette with the green bag is also known as the model C and had a production run between 1920 - 1921. Pretty much after this period the New Vac-u-ettes and Vac-u-ettes had the rectangular tags and white and or black bags until sometime in the early 1930's, when, alas, their production ended -- I think! I hope this was of some small help.

Is mine above a model c? It has gold lettering on the bag. Not sure what the original shade of fabric would have been

It looks like a model C. Kirby did play around with the colors an awful lot.

This one has the triangular badge with the last patent date on the badge being July 1922. The lettering is in red with a gold outline, saying The New Vac-u-ette.

Yes, that's true. The first New Vac-u-ettes did have the triangle tags.
