They also posted one about their recommendations on vacuums they liked.

Kind of what I expected. The authors have the right idea but missed a lot of good, possibly better uprights from Lindhaus, Cirrus, Titan, Aerus, Perfect, Sebo (just me but I much prefer the G4 / G5 to the Felix ) and even the Hoover Hushtone. And on the canister vac side no mention of the Kenmore 600, maybe the best value in canister vacuums today? I have Mieles and a 600 and I know which is the better vacuum for our home. Would have been nice to see an Aerus canister mentioned but most of the brands I mention are not what chirpy Gen X-ers are even aware of. Can't educate your readers about quality vacuums if you don't even know what's out there. I'll give them a B- for trying hard and having their hearts in the right place.

Honestly, only 2 recommendations for upright and 2 for canisters is pretty narrow. Maybe they don't want to confuse their readers.
Mostly a group with minimal knowledge of vacuums. Choose A or B.
The vacuum convention article had more recommendations.
I would have thought, with their target audience, at least a link to recommendations for a robot vacuum would have been there.
