Hey everybody, I hope everybody had a nice Mother’s Day yesterday and I did but anyways yesterday I was in eBay and I saw this beautiful red dirt devil power lite from 1997 and the starting bid was $25 and shipping was $20 so I was the only bidder to place my bid of $26 dollars so I won but 3 mins later it went downhill. It was told that my order was canceled! Canceled! I was like what the hell? So my gmail sent me saying my order was canceled because it was either out of stock or item was damaged, my aunt Fanny! But it it also sent me a ā€œrefundā€, but it didn’t took any money out of my account! Bunch of cheap nasty baloney! Along with the refund stuff, it also sent me a note from the seller saying I’m so sorry that you’re item got canceled because it was being sold on offerup.com or something else or whatever I kinda forgot because I put the email in trash. So after all the disappointment, I decided to give the seller a negative feedback which y’all can see. Tell me what you guys think, because I DESERVE to be a winner winner chicken dinner to this beautiful dirt devil!!!!

Yeah...I think most Ebay sellers are reputable. However, there are those few...a few months ago, I bid on an item and lost the bid. About three days later, I was contacted by the seller stating that the sale fell through and I was given a second chance. Well, I took it. A day later, she canceled the order on me! She received negative feedback from me too. I've since notice that she canceled her Ebay account.

I've had that sort of stuff happen to me also. One time I won a wireless router for $5, paid immediately and then the sale was canceled an hour later with no explanation. My guess is the seller was dissatisfied his item only received one bid.

Another time, I won an auction and paid, then later in the evening the order was canceled with the seemingly lame explanation that the item was already sold. I got very angry, assuming he'd gotten a higher back-channel offer and went round and round with the seller until he finally explained that eBay had automatically relisted the item after he'd sold it and shipped it out. I apologized and we forgave each other.

All that said, I sell a lot of stuff on eBay and as far as I'm concerned, a sale is a sale. I keep up my end of the bargain whether I feel like I've gotten what the item is worth or even if I lose money.

The refund will not be refunded until the payment you made is processed through. If no payment was made yet then there will be no refund obviously.

There are people that don't bother to read and understand how ebay works, so they think they can put something up for sale on both places, and just forget about eBay. When they sell it on the other website then they forget it's on eBay and think it won't matter.

It's not a matter of if you deserve something or not, that's just how online auctions work.

Really sorry about that, my good friend threw a hissy fit when I didn't inform him I was going to start selling off my collection, and he just had to have that one. If you are interested in any other 90's dirt devils I have almost all of them. Please don't hate me :'(

Once, I missed bidding on a mixer on eBay. There were no bids, so I messaged the seller and they responded that they would list it as a buy it now. When I went to look for it, I couldn't find the listing, so I messaged them and they said someone else had purchased it. They should have put for me only. I just assumed it wasn't meant to be.

Austyboi303, I didn’t know you’re a member of vacuumland! I’ll never hate you. I wasn’t thinking straight at all when I left a negative feedback because I was still in bed sleeping when I placed my bid, I feel kinda bad. I’m doing good now.

PayPal now drafts your account immediately when you hit the "Pay Now" button. Refunds, however, take longer to process. Until very recently, PayPal had a delayed payment option that gave the seller his or her money immediately but didn't debit the buyer's account for 14 days. I had a few instances where my "refund" simply added up to a cancellation of payment.

RainbowD4C, u know what you’re absolutely right! I won the friggin bet and I definitely deserve that dirt devil! I shouldn’t do business with him! I feel dumb what I said on reply #7 where I said I’ll don’t hate you. An unworthy snake! šŸ It still bother me when I didn’t got my dirt devil! I really like you better man. šŸ˜šŸ‘

I was going to send you an complete with original box Can Vac that I have for just the price of shipping, because I noticed that you really wanted one to make up for all of this. However, I don't think that is something an Unworthy Snake would do so.... Have a nice day.

Ultralux88, vacuumdevil, and crazykirbylady, I love you guys! Seeing y’alls post this morning just made my day! Us normal vacuumland members have our rights! Austyboi303 is like the same age as me so he needs to think straight, grow up, and go away!!! Just full of lies lies lies!!!!!

When I showed my mom my eBay bidding that got screwed up she even think this is bull. She told me don’t do business with this guy!

here's a lesson: ( class get your pens and notebooks ready)

when purchasing on ebay:
if bidding on an item and you have won the item it is best to usually wait a couple of hours before paying for it due to these situations. usually on a Buy it now payment is required immediately unless otherwise stated.

now according to his listing the vacuum was NOT described as being listed on another site and therefore can be canceled at any time, instead it was listed as an auction that you rightfully won and like other members have said you should be compensated for what you won.

now as for payment!
if paying ACH meaning through your bank account, it can take up to 3 business days for the funds to come out and it can take just as long for the money to be refunded. as for you over drafting your account is NOT Austins problem and NONE of our business, not only that but i have to agree with Alex that if you didn't have the money then you should not have bought the machine to begin with and besides you are lucky to have an overdraft fee of $12.50 as I am sure most of us pay twice to 3 times more than that. and one more thing!

excuses like, " I wasn’t thinking straight at all when I left a negative feedback because I was still in bed sleeping when I placed my bid", " I still feel depressed and disappointed", "I have a little autism in me" basically tells us that you pretty much impulsively bid on the machine and you are using disability and feelings to cover up for your actions. To be honest IT IS A VACUUM!!! feeling Depressed about an object that will eventually show up again is a little overdramatic and honestly nobody cares. Both parties made a mistake and it will be resolved. as for your 12.50 again thats not his problem and i am sure you can make that back quickly.

last tip of advice I can give you is...
if you bid on something and do not have enough funds in your checking account but have funds in your savings you can easily transfer funds from savings to checking online and it is instantaneous.

Electroluxxxx, I think your right, it was actually overdramatic of me saying all of those things. All I need to do is to snap out of it and just move on! Just move forward and forget this mess. We still cool right?
