Well folks, I have sad news. My dad threw out the Hoover Windtunnel Self-Propelled Anniversary Edition after a few years of being out of comission. I still have my Powerforce Turbo, but it's time for an upgrade.

The problems with the Wndtunnel were that I couldn't get the bag door reattached, and I had no time to fix it. Still, it was a good cleaner while it lasted. But thanks to getting my own money for doing chores around the house, I am considering an older Windtunnel Self-Propelled (not the Anniversary Edition).

I was going to take my old Windtunnel to the vacuum store, but decided not to after realizing they overcharge for simple repairs.

I bet one of the tabs broke off of the bag door, easy and cheap to get the new part. I gave my Hoover W/T to another collector, yes they do clean well, but after getting things like my Riccar Radiance and similar vacuums it just never got used anymore.

Well...

I bought the Windtunnel around August of 2011 from Sears. I did buy a warranty, but it expired.

Also, I have had no luck finding a replacement bag door. Besides, I'd have more luck using a USA-made model than I would with Mexican.
