Does anyone know what year this Windsor Versamatic 14 is from, there is nothing on the vacuum that indicates what year it is from. Please tell me if you know the year this Versamatic is from.

I can't find a model plate though I did find the manufacturing code.

windsor versamatic vse 1/3 is its full name. I. Guessing on the age late 90s to mid 2000s.
Commercial vacuum used in hospitals and commercial market.
Karcher from Germany is the manufacturer of versamatics.
The earlier versions were eectroluxes. Which leads me to believe whoever owned Electrolux made versmatics.

I might add that it's possible that this machine was made long before the late 1990's, because it lacks a clip on the handle for the dusting brush and because the white handle grip shows yellowing from age. These machines have been in the U.S. since 1979, when Sebo signed a deal with Windsor Industries.

I'm glad every chimes in after I comment. If you also read I wasn't certain other than Karcher owns it. I got the model number and manufacturer correct.
I was wrong on Electrolux but they made vacums very similar.
Next time answer the question instead of being a wallflower. I made an effort and looked it up but there isn't much info anywhere.

The wide nozzle that's very distinct and fund on luxes for years. You can see the similarities.
Sebo has been in business since 1978.
Electrolux had the wide nozzle before 1978. Orecks, proteam and a few others now have a similar nozzle.

It was first made as the PN5 Omniflow Automatic power nozzle in 1984 and sold with the Silverado canister. They didn’t make it into a 2 motor upright until 1986.

I think you need to read more on vacuum and there origin. As they say its better to not say anything than confirm your miss inform ..... ya feel me ?

Windsor has neever been around Electrolux Aerus or any Lux machine .Electrolux came from sweeden with consilated food and eelectrolux sweeden then came to the American market in the 20s . (tristar aerus or lux before aerus ) .There made by Sebo INC Dont get defensive when you being corrected.

I looked for an hour on the history of the vacuum. I found the model number and manufacturer. I tried to find a link between the 2 companies but Windsor isn't anywhere. I provided a picture of an electrolux probably made before the versmatic.
I couldn't find anything and I did research.
You and nobody else said anything until I posted.
I'll write what I can prove. Notice I said I'm not positive on my first post.
I'd more members posted and helped other members we would not have a problem.
Look through the threads and if people are looking for help I do what I can. Y

Also, I attached a page straight from Sebo’s catalog with background info, if anyone’s interested. However, they’ve changed info and added a pic of the X series upright. It used to show an pic of the Versamatic vacuuming the red carpet at the White House.
I saw my first Versamatic in 1982 when I was in Colorado. I remember my jaw hitting the floor. It’s still such a trailblazing design for an upright. [this post was last edited: 8/29/2021-09:48]

I love these Windsor Versamatics from Sebo. They're excellent vacuums for commercial cleaning. I personally like these better than the Lux versions but what I really like the best are the Italian made Lindhaus RX uprights.

That Versamatic is actually the second generation design. The original had a single (non-swivel) neck between the main unit and the powerhead. Like the Felix.
This version added hinges on both sides, making the machine much more stable, and sturdier as well.
We had both models in the health care facility I worked in in the mid-80s. IIRC, the early version also didn't have the light panel on the powerhead that the later ones do.
