holy SHIT

that price is ridiculous, i almost threw up looking at it. they literally said "needs to be cleaned". I wonder if they made a typo? idk, they can spend the money to auction it

What a laugh

I have a fully restored/polished Heritage with all attachments (most unused, including the chemicals) that I would be lucky to get 300 for.

The half-mil BIN price must mean that he wants just bids, and not BIN. OR a total mistake.
The 110 starting bid would be likely all he would get for it, esp. with 50 to ship.

And how many inaccuracies and laughs can you find in his description below?
"This Vintage Kirby Heritage Vacuum comes with 20 plus Carpet Cleaner parts and has only been used once. It is compatible with Kirby G3 and has a 1.5L capacity. The Brushroll is included, and the unit is electric corded with unknown power. The unit weighs 8lbs and is made of plastic with a brushed chrome finish. The vacuum has features such as Dryable, Click Lock, and Multifunctional. It is a great addition to your household cleaning tools and is perfect for those looking for a vintage touch"

Used only once? Maybe once carelessly in a 20k sq ft home. Too many battle scars and stains on the metal.
Chromed plastic? Nope
8 lbs? Not close
Dryable? Huh?
click lock? not in my sense of the phrase
compatible with Kirby G3? The hose end attachments maybe?
unknown power? He couldn't have looked at the sticker on the bottom?

A vintage touch? Finally a YES!

I was scratching my head a bit at that description too, Rob.
It kind of sounds like when you're trying to read an owner's manual or assembly instructions, and it's a bad translation from whatever language it was originally written in.[this post was last edited: 10/19/2023-15:09]
