The one at my girlfriends work just "stopped picking up" for the second time, I think it's the end though. The short cord coming from the unit apparently has exposed wires. The handle release just broke too, I had her bring it to my vac guy and we installed a new brush belt and filter. The height adjustment wheels are long gone, guess whoever was using that day just picked them up when they fell off and threw them in the trash.
Now they need another machine to replace it, she is the practice manager at a vet clinic so bagless probably makes the most sense. The new building has a vacuflo 960 but the less than smart installer only put direct connect valves upstairs in the office section and not downstairs where they need to use a powerhead on the typical entry mats. I think the Hoover actually is just at the two year mark so it's managed to survive some really dumb, lazy people using it, granted it's missing some pieces but nun the less .
