My family hats cats, but I love them(and men...lol)! Here is my Sox. She is the most spoiled cat ever. She's so fat! I had a second cat a few years ago, (Tiger) but he got cancer. I got Sox and Tiger at the same time, and Sox only loves me, my cousin, and grandparents! I love that cat! She hates belly rubs. She scratches when you rub her there, yet always tries to get everybody to rub that belly!

My wife and I shared our house with this little darling

Her name was Tastrophe ("Taz" for short), and we adopted her from our local SPCA when she was 4 years old. She brought so much joy into our home and, when we moved to my Mom and Dad's house, to their home too for just about 8 years. Sadly, she passed away 10 months before my Dad did, in February 2011.

I LOVE cats, don't have one yet but hope to get one soon. Was thinking of a norwegian cat as those are fluffy, or maybe even a Bengal one. Tubbie's are lovely. I like cats with white socks and they are SO CUTE :D I prefer them to dogs as I find them more fun to play with, a good companion

I...

Love cats and dogs! I have three cats, which are all Domestic Shorthairs, a pretty generic breed of cat. Thought I do prefer dogs, we have a German Shepherd who is 115 pounds and from Czechoslovakia (also where my ancestors are from). Dogs make great companions and are wonderful pets, also very loyal. :)

Though I have dogs and cats

The most loyal friend and best watch dog I ever had was a Lynx Point Siamese. She lived to be 18 years old.

Wow, great pics! My neighbor had a seal point?? Dark points anyway Siamese male when I moved in here in 80, he would sit on the brick facade 3' up on the corner and watch this huge yard. NO other animals would come into the yard, he would go up the roof and across the 6 units and jump them. Miss that guy, very affectionate. No dog poop in the yard then! Not a clue how to spell his name.

This is Bailey, our black and white moggie. About 16 years old now, but still not showing any signs of slowing down just yet. He likes a lot of fuss, treats at 7:00 AM on the dot (should we sleep in, he will miaow to remind us), and tuna on Saturdays.

His other "thing" is hopping into the tub after we have showered, and lapping up the water droplets. Actually waits outside the door, watching us, only to jump right in the second we step out. We've had to start closing the bathroom door at nights because of this... if the tub is dry, he will yowl loudly in protest until we get out of bed and shoo him back out.

We are slaves to this cat, but really we wouldn't have it any other way!
