Rainbow

I wouldnt spend my money On one . I would rather spend less on a cental vacuum and have a better vacuum then a rainbow! . In a cental vacuum you have better filteration and a better made product.

I like central cleaning systems as well but for some peopel they just wouldn't be a easy investment. People who have to move all the time for work or what ever reasons or those who live in apartments it would be rather hard to get a hold of a central vacuum and so they would have to go with a portable unit. It's all in preference.

Who Likes Rainbows

Hey guys,

Don't forget to use your Rainbow to do the fall clean up of the screened porch. It is wonderful . I use the Rainbowjet to scrub both the screen porch rugs and the cement floor. Also use the Rainbow sprayer to spray the plants with insecticide before I bring them inside for the winter.

When I use the Rainbow concentrate it only takes one cap full and I can scrub the 10X12 cement floor and pick up the scub water.

Only have to empty the basin one time as the floor cleaner is very concetrated. Because the tool turns 360 degrees the hose never binds up and it has a scrub brush on one side and you flip it over for the squeegee.

When you are done I empty the basin and then pick up up 2 quarts of clear hot water and that cleans the wands ,hose and basin. Nothing could be easier or faster.

It even removed some green mold on the rugs where plants had sit during the summer.

This small squeegee tht fits on the fabric tool is also handy to do the windows. I use the sprayer to wet thew windows down with cleaning solution and then the sqeegee to pick up the water. It works so fast and no wasted paper towels.

If you have an older model Rainbow you can use the squeegee attachment to clean the cement floor but you use the spayer to dispense the cleaning solution first. The new Rainbowjet is self contained with its own pump and you control the flow of the cleaning solution  with the 3 -way off/on trigger.

At some point I think I'm going to get the new PN and hose for my Gold 2 speed.

As far as I know, it's basically the same machine (except for the LED lit basin)and design change.

I've always thought my Rainbow had good suction. I mean, if I'm using my 14 foot non electric hose and I'm vacuuming a cat blanket or something, it tries to inhale it. It may to have water lift in the 140's, but it still has really good suction IMO. With a proper PN, great cleaning : D

I mean the current PN I have is OK, it still picks up dirt/sand/cat hair so it's doing something.
