Yes God was with me through that & also prepared me for the next task I had coming up in the fall even though I wasn't healed yet...that's when my partner was diagnosed with large B cell lymphoma (brain cancer) sadly it got him 1 year 2 months later... All is well I'm doing fine... I get down but at least I have this place to get my spirits up!

AMEN! He's an ever present help in a time of trouble. Now that being said, that thing appeared to be more akin to an IED/biological weapon than an everyday, ordinary vacuum cleaner. Did you ever contact eBay or the seller, regarded your near death experience? Because if that poison hit your heart, that would have been all she wrote!

No I didn't, that was far from my mind at the time, heck I couldn't do much from June well past 2013. That really put the fear in me about anything from someone I don't know that's why I say please clean the machine, dump the bag or whatever make it presentable because I don't want to go through that ever again & the downside to all this is my immune system was shot to hell, I have to wear a mask when flu & cold season is going in the shops because people don't cover their mouth! BUT I'm alive!!!

Some other things to be wary of are asbestos (e. g. bags, filters, attachments, et cetera) and leaded paint. I wouldn't doubt that many vacuum cleaner companies used these products through the 1950s anyway before lab testing and studies were initiated in the 1960s.
I wonder if OSHA has ever looked into this?

my concern...
is lead from lead based paint. Paint continuously flakes in old houses and gets vacuumed up. This lead laden dust accumulates in a vacuum, no bueno.

How did MRSA get into a Rainbow? Did the previous owner vacuum hypodermic needles? Or was it used in a hospital?
