I just picked up my auctions yesterday, and the whole time that we were bidding on them all I thought was they should have had some of us vacuum collectors there sorting and matching up the machines, hoses and attachments. I have boxes of wands and some attachments, rare stuff, wands and rug tools for Rexair models A & B, Compact C4 era wands, various Lewyt wandsand attachments , some I can't even identify. I am still unloading all the stuff from the back of my truck. If anyone has any requests please feel free to email me. I am looking for hoses and attachments for 2 of the machines that I have won, one is a Westinghouse Strato Vac, I know who has the hose, I am looking for the wands and attachments, the other is a GE Roll Easy, I need the hose and attachments for that. Im sure they are in someones winning?

I also was thinking the exact same thing, and it's one reason why I was hesitant to trust the seller, since it was obvious that they aren't very experienced with vacuums. But, regardless, I still got stuff and am happy with all my purchases. But, like you, I also got some extra stuff I didn't want that went to other vacuums. I'm not sure if what extra stuff I have goes to any of the machines you mentioned, but here is a picture of the stuff.

I know for sure that the hose in the box goes to the vacuum on the left in lot #194 (https://johncarlauctions.hibid.com/lot/82466441/2-vacuum-cleaners-type-vbbs800n00?cpage=4).

Yep

I won a couple things, they just got shipped today(shipping actually wasn't bad). Neither require hoses, but I found a reseller on eBay who won one of the multi vac lots I was looking at, and has the one I wanted(Elux XIIA) for sale at a decent starting price. I sent you an email about the hose for it if I do end up winning the vac.

I am not sure if they will due to privacy and confidentiality reasons but maybe ask the auctioneer and explain the situation and see if they will give you the bidder's contact info from each lot in question so you can make sure you all get the right pieces? Worth a shot.

I would also love to find a way to contact other buyers of the hoses, I have four machines I need hoses for! I have two oddball Apex manufactured canisters, a Hoover Aerodyne and a Monkey Wards that I would love to match up hoses and attachments for!

Patrick showed a picture of his extra Apex attachments in the carton, I'm sure they go with one of your tank Apex machines.

Ah, thats what those are! I was looking at the post on my phone and couldn't really see the pic that well. Patrick, did you happen to get a hose with those attachments?

Unfortunately, I did not get a hose that goes with those attachments. It also looks like the set may be missing an attachment or two.

If you'd like, I'd be happy to ship them to you. If not, what model vacuum cleaner do they go to? (so I know how to advertise them properly)

Those Apex tools go to the tank type Apex as well as could be used with the Strato Cleaner and Dyna Cleaner. That's a wonderful rug nozzle. Years ago at the old VCCC convention, Hans Craig won the canister cleaning contest using an Apex Strato cleaner fitted with that rug nozzle.
