Whirlpool Fabric Sense WTW5800SW0 Washer Help.

This is my first thread in the Household Forum. My family's Whirlpool Fabric Sense is not spinning inside. But it still turns on. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong with it? My mom thinks there is a belt inside. I already looked at the Parts Diagram for this washer and I saw no belt inside. So can anyone help us out please?

You realize that you are on the vacuum forum! We have a sister site called Automatic Washer that deals with all things washer. I'd ask your question over there on the Super forum which deals with all things modern washer!

Likely the lid closed switch/sensor is not detecting that the lid is closed, and the controller won't allow it to run until it's closed.

We already got a new washer. We may take the old one to the recycling center today. Thanks for the advice.
