Anyone know what replaceable brush strips would fit the agitator for a Hoover upright model 725? or have any for sale ? My Hoover is in nearly new shape for being an old gal, but the brushes are worn. Would like to use it more frequently and keep the grand old lady going...! Thanks !

I have plenty of older strips...i can check if I have the right ones here. Is it the original brushroll?

Sorry late in getting back to you...yes, as far as I can tell, it is the original, with the beater bars, and the brush strips, all on the machine appears to be the original, right down to the cord and plug. Thanks so much !

Well, I've dragged out my oldest Hoover parts manual, and of course I have brush strips with either no marking, or that don't show up in the book.

Measure your 2 strips and let me know length and I'll check the oddball inserts.
