Ok here we go... I live in port orange Florida, and Richards vacuum center does complete polishing of Kirby's for I believe, like $120 they service them and polish then

In Ocala

Michael -- You might try the Vacuum Center in Ocala. It's at 3233 SE Maricamp Road. It's a little hole in the wall shop, very friendly. I've seen some restored Kirbys in there.

If you're not familiar with Ocala, come in on SR 200 from Citrus Springs, then turn right onto 17th Street. Follow 17th out about 5 miles and it becomes Maricamp. The shop's in a little shopping center, just past McDonalds.
