I have to choose just one!

If I had to pick two it would be my Dual 50 and my recent Heritage 84 find. The Kirby Classic III and my 518 are not far behind.

It changes daily. Honestly, I like all of my Kirby's.

Mine would be the 560. To me, it is the epitome of 1950s understated style.

Anything G series, EXCEPT for the G5--I CANNOT(!) stand that maroon/purple. No offense to anyone who has one. It is a wonderful cleaner and it will last until the end of eternity, but the color simply makes what I consider to be one of the manliest vacuums money can buy into something less virile. lol

That said, my favorite G series machine would probably be the G6. I created a similar thread a while back (see link below) that was the same idea as this one, and in it I describe why I like the G6 best. The largest reason I like the G6 the best is, briefly summed up, that it belongs to what I consider the best-performing family of Kirbys (the G series), and the black and chrome is just class. That trim combo reminds me of a new Mercedes or some other high class luxury car.

Though, I must say, I really like my G3, probably tied with the G6 as my favorite. Really is a beast of a cleaner!

Well you all know that I like my tradition! The blue beautifully compliments the chrome, such a pretty vacuum.

My paternal grandma's Classic III. She and her husband who died in 2000, had actually bought this machine in 1987 (the machine was 10 years old, of course) from someone who couldn't pay his/her debt.

Well....

I have had several Kirbys over the years and I have to say that there are at least 7 I will always have in my collection.

1. My grandmother's Dual Sanitronic 50
2. Dual Sanitronic 80 because it was the only green Kirby ever made
3. Classic III, well isn't it obvious?? lol
4. My uncle Vernon's Heritage 84
5. Heritage II that I bought brand new on eBay
6. G5 because of the color
7. and of course my old friend the Diamond Edition
