The Best and The Craziest

Mom calls me on my phone and tells me her friend gave me a barely used Kenmore Quickclean and an hour later after vacuuming my house my grandma came over and I told her that i got a new vacuum and she said to check the trunk because there was 3 in there that her friend wanted me to have. They were a Hoover Elite, Eureka Airspeed with a jammed motor, and a Hoover Tempo. 0 vacuums in one day, all for free.

Sam- Yes I know but It comes with a brand new cyclone, bin, Soleplate All original + a brand new silver dusting brush, and I got some motors, especially DC07 ones :) so that is what tempts me, but all I need to buy is a Body which I found for £10 on eBay, all that, and a clean up and I got a new looking Dyson :)

Thanks :D Hopefully it won't get sold as I am hoping my Parents let me buy it for my 15th Birthday in November- I love the colours

The best deal I ever got on a vacuum was my Monster Wap turbo d, New it retails for $ 3500.00 I bought it for $90.00

It is in perfect working order. I am now setting it up as a central vacuum in my workshop.

Just walked out of Goodwill with a Tristar EXL complete with powernozzle and looks to be used very little - for $11.99. I was scared someone might recognize it on the way out and I'd get mugged for it. lol

I also had a bagless Kenmore vac on that same trip that I had no idea was 75% off until I looked at the receipt at home - only cost $1.50! I got it because I have absolutely no Kenmore brand vacs in my collection other thsn one I imported across the Canadian border a few years ago.

Gotten a few decent deals, but my favorite was a G3 and 1cr Kirby for $2 a piece from ReStore before it got more expensive.
Well, those and something I will hopefully have coming up in a few weeks!

Electrolux Grand Marquis nearly complete for $10 at Habitat.

Kenmore Let's Clean canister vac complete with manual - $5 at Habitat.

Hoover Slimline - $1.50 at another thrift shop as it was half price day - after passing up same vac for $8 at an estate sale

Penncrest Canister (Hoover Constellation rebadge) - $3 at a retirement community sale

Kenmore Cleaning System - $5 at estate sale nearby

Oh and practically mint Kenmore Progressive bagged upright (top model with direct drive, multi speed, inteli-clean, etc) $10 at Habitat. Just had a clog in the hose and a few minor scratches, nearly mint otherwise.

A brand new open box Cleanfix S10 for 40 euros.

A free Hoover Aquamaster S4470 with hose, crevice tool, dusting brush, carpet extraction head, solution tank and siphon tube!.

A few that come immediately to mind are:

-Kirby G6 $0, dumpster find, needed a bag and a belt. I later found a set of G6 tools to go with it at a nearby thrift shop for $4 on half-price day. I like to think I reunited them.

-Royal Prince 501 handheld $2.99 at the same thrift shop where I got the Kirby tools. Perfect shape except for a load of dog hair in the bag.

-Electrolux Diamond J $10 with generic hose and PN5 power nozzle in near perfect shape.

-Electrolux Discovery II upright $0 curb find with hose. Almost like new.

-Electrolux Epic 3500 upright $3 at Goodwill in near perfect condition.

My best deal was probably my Kirby G3 and Diamond Edition. I found them for sale on Facebook market place and they looked in good shape but the pictures were only of the vacuums, I messaged the guy and told him I’d take both cause he was selling them for $50 each. I showed up and was super stoked to see that he had the original boxes, paper work and attachments! On top of that they looked a lot better in person and much like any Kirby, cause they are built like tanks, still ran like it was brand new! Another good deal I got was also on market place it was a Kirby Avalir2 with attachments and shampoo system for $150 the lady that owned it had moved to a new house that mainly had hardwood floors and a central vacuum so she didn’t see the point of keeping it, which I get, I figured $150 was pretty cheap for the current running system!
