What would it take?

I have a 1979 Kirby Tradition that I picked up at a thrift store for $10. Although it just came with the vac and no attachments, I am wanting to use it downstairs in my home.

What I would like to know is:

1. Can it be converted to a vacuum using disposable bags?

2. If that's so, what parts/pieces do I need?

Just curious if it's worth the trouble.

I think this will work. You can also get a fill tube that will fit inside the Traditions emptor, but i think the original design has airflow issues. Im sure the Kirby gurus will chime in.
