I just ran across this eBay listing for a "restored" Electrolux canister. It's described as an "Olympia" but if the top plastics are still their correct color, it's more likely a Silverado. I'm questioning the color and the model because the whole thing, including the PN-4 and the combo floor brush, have been painted the most hideous shade of bright, metallic "electric leprechaun" green! Don't get me wrong, the guy (I'm assuming it's a guy) appears to have given it a really nice quality paint job, but the color just makes the whole thing look beyond bojack. I guess he was trying to go for something resembling a 1205 color scheme but what he ended up with is just too garish and he painted a few things he shouldn't have, like the power switch and the rear wheels. That'll just end up looking like hell very quickly. One thing's for sure, there's no way I'd pay his asking price for that monstrosity.

I repainted my compact electra c9 canister vacuum once and i didnt have the original color on hand so i just pick one i like came out good if i may sa y so . I think adding a touch of personalaty is nice no to every one taste but that guy seem to like it and it came out great hamer tone green metalic really makes it pop . just my 2 cents here

Well, darn! And I thought I had the most reliable Electrolux model here :) (guess I'll have to break down and buy it, right?)
You know, it's one thing to like the color green, and it's another to make it green for everyone else. Also, the switch plate just looks wrong all green like that. They could've kept a little more beige for contrast.
And then there's the price...(cough, choke)! I'm in the wrong business!

"Electric leprechaun green" that was good!

Not surprisingly, that auction closed without a bid. The seller re-listed it with a slightly lower asking price. All I can say is 'lotsa luck'.
