I use a kirby classic omega for the basement, hoover constellation 86 for the main floor, kirby sentra for the second floor, and a hoover celebrity 2 elite for the third floor.

I use a Rainbow SE, Electrolux Silverado, Kirby G5, Hoover Convertible (several to choose from), and an awesome Eureka ESP upright. Lately, I've been using the Rainbow and the Silverado the most. I have a new Platinum Edition Aerus, but I still haven't taken it out of the box! I figure when I do get it out, it will replace most of my vacs as drivers except my rainbow......having a messy 2 1/2 year old in the house, you NEED a wet pickup vacuum! :)

Use the most...

Main floor is either my Hako Patriot 14 Commercial or my NSS Branded Royal Commercial "Panther", upstairs would be either the SuperVac 180 or the Eureka ESP. For the basement is the Kirby 1CB Omega. For the stairs I use a Royal 105 Hand Vac.

The Electro-Hygiene 903 is probably the most used vac in my collection, although my Kirby Classic III has been getting a lot of use lately. My Electrolux G and Hoover 82 Constellation also get frequent use. Here's the 903, with attachments.

MY VACTRIC R45. IT WORKS GREAT AND LOOKS GREAT. ACQUIRED THIS FROM PAUL LINNELL WHEN HE CLOSED HIS VIRTUAL MUSEUM DOWN.(SIMPLY SWITCH ON) HE DID REPLACE THE FRONT COVER WITH THE ORIGINAL BEFORE GIVING TO ME. THE HANDLE GRIP NEEDS CHANGING AS IT IS WORN. STILL WOULD BE NICE TO FINISH THE TOOL SET OFF.

Well because I buy an sell Dysons and regularly have DC25,24,39,14's etc passing through, you'll be surprised to hear the whole house gets hoovered with a trusty DC01! Picked it up from a skip, second hand motor for £8 and goes like a train! One of the noisiest ones I've had but picks up better than the De Stijl I have

I agree so much, we vac the whole house with a yellow and grey DC01, got it for £!0, works like new, a new belt, brush, and filters made it amazing, and we also use a DC07 from 2001 Britith made

When we moved recently....

I kinda decided that I needed a bulletproof that wasnt a collectable, or to me a rare machine. I bypassed anything that I knew did not have an ample supply of repair parts If one needed one.

So I dredged out my old reliable Electrolux Golden J. I had bought a new hose for it, new triple brush roller and then for some silly reason promptly parked it in storage about three years ago.... Now that I live in the country, Im fighting far more dirts, sands and bugs, so I need something that can take that all in stride. And to me that Luxy does that.

For my upright I transffer beac and forth between a Royal 880, and a older Singer Twin Fan, which is in great mechanical condition, but looks pretty rough...

Daily driver is a Factory Rebuilt Kirby Classic Omega, with a 4 row brush roll, and Heritage 2 bag system, with a G series bag adapter, using the G5/6 Hepa Bags. Then for all above floor cleaning, an Electrolux Silverado with a 1692 Headlight PN,,love the Sidekick too. Ocasionally use a Filter Queen Tripple Crown,,and have Central Vac in the house, but dont like to wrestle with that long hose. Mostly use the Central Vac for cleaning out the car, and garage.
I clean a large fitness center once a week for a friend that owns a cleaning service, and usually take the TriStar to do that.
She has a Panisonic/Hoover DAM style commercial upright that i dont like, as there is only suction on the one side of the brush roll,(and the suction is poor anyway),and the hose going up the back end to the bag is prone to clogging.

She also has a back pack vac that i can use, but not crazy about it either because after about an hour with that thing strapped to my back, im ready to take it off. Takes about 2 hours of vacuuming to get the job done there, so ive found the TriStar does the best job, going around the fitness equipment, ect, and is the easiest to use in that situation.
May have to take the Classic Omega over to the fitness center sometime and see how it does.

OK, I'll jump on this old revived thread too!

I am alternating between Omega (fully restored by me), and Heritage II (also restored by me). It depends which area of the house I'm cleaning. If I have a lot of dog hair, and pieces of dog food to pick up (in the area of the house the dogs have access to), I use Heritage. No harm to the bag, and it gets thrown away WAY before the stuff reaches the line indicated on the bag.

For the rest of the house that sees only dust (very little dust this time of the year, when the windows are mostly closed), I use Omega. 515 is used only in my office. All three are used daily, and we are expecting the fourth member of the team to join us before the month's end! The new addition will be used in the bedrooms only (easy life for the old machine!).

Wife says "nobody in his right mind needs FIVE vacuum cleaners in the house",......and I'm having fun!
