What to do, brushroll doesn't work.

I recently replaced the fan in my Eureka it's similar to a Sanitaire. Anyway I bought a new brushroll to go with it too. The motor runs fine but it doesn't turn the brush. Could it be that I need a new belt? What do you think?

Brush roll

Hi Alex when ever you change the brush roll you should also replace the belt. Put in a new belt and let me no how it works. It should be fime Doug

same thing happend to me. the brushroll can only go in 1 of 2 ways so you have to make sure that when you turn it on that the belt will not slip off the track and onto the brushroll itself. try flipping the brushroll over.
