As previously mentioned, I ALMOST got scammed. Here are the involved "parties".

Davis Lee - [email protected]

James Porath - Venmo account

Kathy Boone - "wife of Davis Lee" - PayPal account - [email protected]

And the "hijacked" account of Dario Jim.

Dario Jim is the person who suggested I contact Davis Lee in the first place.

Whoever is involved with this Scamming is pretty smart, so be careful. If you use PayPal, do not use Friends and Family, you forfeit your buyer's protection.

Moderator can any member delete their message to the forum. I have yet to find the message where I was referred to Davis Lee.

Attached is the picture Davis Lee sent me. Claimed only to have the door, but if you look closely at the bottom, there is the exhaust filter cover.

Definitely makes me not want to sell anything to anyone. There's always problems.
When you deal with websites with unsecure security protocols that let peoples accounts get hacked, and going through improper unknown channels with people passing you off to 3 or 4 different names, yes it opens you up to getting scammed. I'm sure everyone remembers those Nigerian prince eMails. And scammers are always searching for exploits with every new technology. We will think "oh wow thats a cool new thing" and scammers are just thinking "okay how can I use this to steal money". Just the way the world is now, have to be on your feet keeping an eye out. I had to get a new phone for my house that blocks scam calls automatically without the phone ringing through, because I kept getting so many scam numbers. Like 15 calls a day.
