This little guy is currently for sale on eBay and has generated a fair amount of interest. The seller doesn't know what model it is and can't find any model number info at the exhaust port where it would normally be found. It's said to be new old stock still in its original box, so this is the way it came from the factory. I could swear I saw one similar to this once while browsing through the archives here, but I haven't been able to find it again. It looks a lot like a model 500 but there are some noteworthy differences, like the hefty yellow power cord, the industrial looking clamps on the canister, and the bell shaped bulge at the canisters base. If I had to guess I'd say it was probably a commercial version of the standard model 500, but I'm hoping someone here will know exactly what it is. Thanks

It Is!

Definately a commercial, but much newer than a 500, the power nozzle outlet and nylaflex hose gives it away...by the way, notice how long that hose is!!! they used the old 500 hammertone gold on the commercial machines for a long time, this has got to be from the 70s, but yes very very rare!!

Thanks for the responses guys!

I figured someone here would know the answer. And Gregor, where did you find the model number on yours?

And now the model #. Top of picture--long rectangular space is for the serial and above it it says model. There it is. both are very faint as if they weren't stamped hard enough!
