What, in your opinion, is the most elegant looking Kirby of all time?

In my opinion, the Tradition 3CB is the most elegant in appearance, with its blue vs. shiny metal combination. Blue vs. shiny aluminum go together luxuriously!

Note the "marbleized" appearance of the blue on the upright handle fork.

Got to be te tradition for me also...there's just SOMETHIBG so elegant an regal to the blue against silver.
The g5 is a close second.

I find the Tradition a beauty to look at, but I think the most elegant one has to be the Classic Omega, with its wood veneer effect handle. Very classy.

The most elegant Kirby to me is:

Any model from the late 500-series (516-561). The cherry-red trim and accessories are beautiful. I hope the new model has this color scheme.

Most Elegant AND Beautiful Kirby

For me, it's the Model 560 & 561. Here's a YouTube video (see link) of a 560 that I restored a couple of years ago. I could only hand-buff the housing but it still came out really shiny.

btw, when you load the Video, if you click the little cogged-wheel icon just under the video preview window on the right side, you can change the resolution to 720P-HD for a much sharper and better-sounding video.

And yes, that's me playing the organ! :)

Difficult decision...

For me, it would be a toss-up between the Classic 1-CR and the Omega, with the Omega and its rosewood trim edging to the top position. I really like how everything seems to flow, from the softly sculpted nozzle to the delicate headlight housing, no exposed serial number, the streamlined sani em-tor, ending in the fender skirts over the rear wheels. The Kirby emblems on the bags sure are a plus, too.

Following those two models would be the Tradition. While the headlight housing seems bulky to me, and the rear wheels sticking out seem to break up the flow, there is something about the (above mentioned) combination of the royal blue color on the bag and trim and the polished aluminum that just says "wow!"

That being said, the entire line of Classics are my favorites.

I have to agree with the Omega, then followed by the D80. I bet you could make a custom Kirby that could be even more elegant.

The Vacuette

I think has an interesting and most bygone beauty of all the bag designs offered by Kirby throughout the years. I like how the linear lines of its cast aluminum body gives way to symmetric curves - with no edges, nor borders. It triune tag mimics its frontal nozzle construct in proper proportion and shape. Its low gentle profile is simple, but yet masterful. In total overall appearance, it is the vacuum I most love, but again, I love all Kirbysss.

For me the favorite Kirby has to be the Tradition-liked the blue color-very nice and elegant looking-same with the red on the G5.Least favorite color Kirby-the D80-hate the Puke-Tobacco-tomato hornworm green. The D80 is a great performer-just don't like its color. The brown of the D50 is much better.

I say the sanitronic 50 by far... Love the handle design and Kirby logo that lights up. Correct me if I'm wrong in saying that is the only Kirby to have the logo on the hood and have it light up too?

Your right

And if memory serves, it's also the 50TH anniversary vacuum for the Ezee. The Ezee was built from 1914 to 1916, so I guess they picked the mid point of its production run to commemorate it.
