what is a good price for a lux hose

Depends

If these are recent plastic hoses, it's a fair price for genuine Lux.

If they are really old stock with the correct woven fabric covering, it's legalised theft, LOL.

I just put them on hold till I can get thare friday

yes thay are nos lux hoses from the 1950s and the guy has had them sence 1957 and new in the box wow its time to stock up

WOW

I'd sure like to see photos of them when you get them.

That's QUITE a find.

Don't guess you'll tell us where you found them eh...?! :)

a vacuum grave yard

Ill tell you after I get them the place has ben thare for over 60 years and the guy all ways buys more parts for vacuums then he can ever sell

Be careful that they're not dried out and leak air. A braided hose can look beautiful but not be airtight. This is OK if being used only for display. In my store I sell a replacement vinyl hose, virtually identical to original Electrolux (which we can't get) for $69.98. It is my understanding that the Aerus branches or distributors get about $92.00 for their nearly identical hose.

what finds

I got 3 nos hoses today and I think one may be off a model 30 or 60 2 where never used and one was but thay dont leak at all and the store had some other goodys I will go back for but I had a good time and will post pics of the hoses this weekend
