My friend wants to give me one for free and all I have to do is pay shipping wich is like 60$ with all cleaning tools and was wodering if it's a good deal I think it is so tell me what do you think ?
Take it!!! pay the 60 bucks and RUN!!!GREAT MACHINE-the person getting rid of it will be the loser!Wish one of my freinds would give me one!Had to buy mine.
I agree with vintagevaclover and tolivac. $60 is a steal even if you have to put a little work into it. I have a Sentria and it is the most powerful upright I have ever used.
Because I thought something was wrong with each of them, turns out it was the very plush carpet in the house not the vacuum even with the delicate brush roll. I have given 1 away & the other 2 are in storage so for $60 is a bargain compaired to what I've spent, was cheaper to get a new vacuum then replace all the new carpet in the house.
that takes the F bag. Mine just sits in the bathroom collecting dust. I have used it once. I like my Diamond Edition a lot better then the Sentria. I don't like the plastic handle, and I hate the new LED Headlight. Dan
Most of the G series machines, they're too dang heavy and awkward to use. I personally use the Heritage II-Legend as my daily driver. It's quiet, very powerful, and I can clean carpets and floors with no troubles at all.
However, I rather enjoyed using my friend's Sentria II when I visited him for a mini-meet. It seemed quieter than my G5, and was kind of cool-looking with the "Paisley" bag design and LED headlight.
I got my Sentria for $15 from Goodwill a year ago. I polished it up and took it to Cleveland and showed everyone at the Convention. It really is a great machine.
This ended up being my favorite Kirby out of the G Series. At first I wasn't sure about the handle, but after using it for awhile, I actually like it. Also the first models had a grey cord and Kirby has changed that to the same color as the base of the machine. More brown. I updated my cord to match....Now I have a G5, GSix, Ultimate Diamond, and a Sentria II. I like them all, but the Sentria II is my favorite.
