What do you think is the worst household chore?

What a fun thread.

I can't say there is any one chore I don't like to do. I love to clean the oven, volunteer to do it at church all the time.

Especially love washing windows.

We have ceramic tile in the kitchen...never again...I hate it..but love cleaning it.

I really can't think of anything I don't like to do...

I was amazed at the thread above talking about Roaches...thank God we don't have them in our area. We just replaced the dishwasher and I was surprised...no dirt or bugs...

Here's a nasty one for you.

When I get back home to my mother's house after awhile, and thing was cooked and not completely eaten and left sit the fridge for days...clean that friedge is the most vile and dusgusting chore ever! If I'm not home over there to "dispose" of the leftovers, they rot. Who knew Jello had fur?!

Chore I hate

I will not touch bathrooms. When I have my own bathroom, I hope I can keep it clean without cleaning it because I have no intentions of doing so. And vacuuming the car is the one thing I kind of like. I used to like to dust but now since I have so many vacuums I can never come to a decision as to which machine to use, so I put it off...but having an air cleaner that runs most of the day makes a big difference in the amount of dust floating around. There are also days where I absolutely do not feel like mowing the lawn, and other days I'll spend hours out there making it look its best.

Ironing and folding clothes. I like hanging some of my shirts on hangers to dry. Then all I have to do is fold my jeans in half and hang those.

I Hate Dusting with a passion...

As where our house is situated when the windows are open like they all are currently as its so hot, dust blows in from all angles & settles everywhere! Sofas, TVs, Floors, everywhere. Plus it only aggravates my hayfever!

On the plus side its a good excuse for getting the vacuum out more than once a day!

That is why we never open window or doors..heat or air...

My allergies just can't handle all that pollen...

I actually like to vacuum (with my TriStar EXL or Aerus/Electrolux G, L, 1205 or Golden Jubilee) but mowing grass & cleaning out the fridge/freezer & oven are too much effort for me to do.

For the yard work, I use a Worx GT corded string trimmer & Black & Decker LH5000 blower/vac, which I think are the best electric yard tools.

I like to open the windows whenever the air outside is nice.

I love to hang the sheets on the line. They smell so good. Guests seem to like it too. No one has ever had any allergic reactions to any pollen, etc. Fresh air is so nice after a long, cold winter. i love a fresh breeze. Maybe it's just me... and a Clariton everyday.

Sebofan, I've used a Corby and they are great for trousers and even jeans. The unit does switch off automatically once the selected time has elapsed, but don't feel you have to immediately remove the trousers afterwards. Leave them clamped inside to cool off until needed (overnight is fine), and the end result is even better.

Shirts? I suppose it would work, if fastened up and with the buttons facing the pad. Might take two or three rounds through the press though to do the entire shirt, and that's not including the sleeves, collar and what have you. Ironing, as horrible as it is, would probably be less of a ballache in this instance.
