nope nope nope and nope did i say nope

No robot vacuum has the power to clean well enough i rather do it my self whit my Electrolux or Comapct that way i know its truly clean i dont trust robots lol make me spooky to watch the thing move on its own no not for me

Of course they don't, if they're honest, the robots were meant to be a convenient way to keep the house looking nice between uses of the real vacuum, they were never intended to replace a regular vacuum for deep cleaning, But telling customers they can stop vacuuming altogether is a nice sales pitch, so it stuck...

To elabroate on my brief post above, Dyson wins it.

The Miele Scout, the first generation red model, sweeps the wood floor well enough to use it, but it's not awesome, not what I would expect from Miele. I hope Miele does a better job with the forthcoming second generation. I have a Dyson 360 upstairs with four carpeted rooms, a fairly large hall and stair landing and two tiled bathrooms. I have to say that I'm really impressed with the job it does. It takes up to 15 hours to clean the whole level, including 3-4 recharges, but I'm at work that long more often than not, so it can clean the whole level during a work day. It's not a perfect robot, but its software is regularly updated, so it's been improving since it was introduced, and it's by far the best robot-mounted vacuum I've ever seen. Since it cleans bedrooms, it picks up a lot of very fine dust, and after regular use for a year, there's almost no dust on the pre-motor filter and none at all on the post-motor filter. Having said all of that, I should point out that I paid $300 for it NIB, ie 30% of the retail price, which I never would even consider paying for that, even though it's really good. For the price I did pay, considering it was brand new, I'm really happy with it. If someone were disabled and had a serious need for a robotic vacuum, this is the one I would recommend.

I don't have any photos of it that I can think of, but I'd be happy to take some and post them if anyone is interested.
