Lol I was watching that until the end but chickened out as I'd bought too much stuff already!

Strip and clean it but leave the paint alone. Then use it with company and see what the reaction is

not

sure what you mean Beko 1987 .I will try and re do it in pink although i absolutely hate the colour especially that Hoover sickly flesh colour

Shows how tough Hoover vacuums can be even after being stored in the barn-they still can be fixed up to work like new!The scream can be saved in case the machine CAN'T be revived? For what it is-the motor looks in fairly good shape-looks like it can be saved from the depths of time.

well

i have been wondering all day where i could get pink paint that was anything remotely like the origional had a look on line found nothing thats really satisfactory tried Halfords no joy there so on my way home from work i went into wilkinsons for some undercoat and there it was right in front of me pink spraypaint almost the same it looks slightly lighter in the photo but it isnt i supose the test will be to spray a bit and see how it dries will try a bit tmro

the Rustalation

is no more it took ages but i finally got rid if all the rust and have just given it its first coat of white undercoat i also managed to straighten out the bent skirt so its getting there slow but sure .Havnt touched a Constelation in 30 years and had forgotten what a simple little thing it is [rather like an upsidedown henry]can anyone tell me why some of the USA Connies were tilted forwards was there a reason for this ?.I have seen lots of photos of them in various threads and thought would the dirt not pile up at the front of the bag or were they arranged differently inside or was it just a gimic to make them look better ?
