I have my dyson dc40 & 41 already which I love. so it would have to be something I can't get locally with ease
I would like a Sanitaire sc675 too
and a proper SHOPVAC
we have other brands but I really like the look and shape of a proper shopvac

For many years I put off buying a carpet washer as I had my parents old Vax canister. The machine was great but it was a bit of a strain doing carpets with the suction only floor head. I've always recommended the similarly, but far better made Numatic George to others and I find myself possibly wanting the same model, even though it would mean the same kind of back wrenching experience for washing carpets. I've only had my Bissell upright washer for a year now but I'm not happy with it and at the time of purchase I couldn't afford to buy one with a built in hose.
Anyone in the UK have a Numatic George? Thoughts on it please!

Since they came out I wanted a bagged T-series, just last week I paid mine off and I love it so far, it cleans just like a hoover should!!! For a TTI machine I am surprised with the quality as it seems like a durable machine. Powerful and light it will definitely do the trick and I also vowed to only use the HEPA bags in it seeing it was my 1st brand new purchase.

I'd like to have the latest Rainbow E4. I think it's pretty cool the way it now has lights to illuminate the water basin so it's easier to tell when the water needs to be changed.

I would like.....
A new Rainbow Black Model. Looked at Rexair's website and they are still calling this an E2 in the downloadable manuals????Just wondering, looks like they would have named it an E4......They are really good with their manuals, so I don't know if this is a mistake or not....

The new Rainbow E3. It has lighted water basin, LED lamp on Power Head & REAL, TRUE brushed edge clean on BOTH sides; unlike other PNs that claim "brushed edge clean" & aren't really brushed.

I'm in Canada, but I adopted a Numatic George last year...
George is powered by a two-stage, bypass Ametek Lamb motor (Acustek series). He's one of the few all-in-one machines that can do all three functions (dry, wet and extraction) well.
Outstanding in almost respects, but there are really only two issues I have with him. First, when the vacuum is turned on and moved around, he sometimes has a tendancy to spit dirty water out the exhaust, and that's even with a small quantity of water in the tank. Secondly, the fishtail nozzle doesn't recover liquids quite as well as it should. Its design uses a rather large aperture and that choice in design results in the carpet remaining rather damp. Because of this, I now use an older Bissell Big Green nozzle for extraction with George.

Thanks for that info Piano_God (I also play piano too!). I was initially worried about the wash head tool being used on short looped wool carpets. Since that's what I have to clean up daily, it seems I'll just have to keep on using my Bissell upright washer until it breaks. The fishtail nozzle doesn't sound very efficient if it can't drain carpets as efficiently as others.

Well, it only cost £70 brand new reduced from £99 at the time and it's already been back to Bissell free of charge. I just wish I had bought the model with the built in hose at the back and probably now missing the old Vax even though it was a heavy old thing.
I just wish Vax would update the current wash vac they have but they won't - they'll let it pass into history - even though it was the first machine they ever sold in the UK that had the 3 in 1 design. They have spun out so many versions in Australia though like a clear bagless design one where you can see the water collected in the base part of the dust bin to models that have the variable suction control dial and better tool storage points. Vax UK used to sell the pet version and more expensive black Rapide version but these days unless I consider other sellers of older stock, Vax no longer sell those higher spec machines.

I have a bissel prohet x2 It works great on carpets but for some reason the water pressure is very poor when it comes out the hose. I really miss my old hoover spinscrub I wish we still got them here. I really like my bissel but I can't help but feel it was designed with the that will do attitude. There is a lot on it that could have been better. I really wish dyson would design and build a carpet washer I think it would be great.

There are several vacuums that I would love to have, if money were no object.
The Kirby Sentria(I'd wait for the next model, but I must say that I don't like the pictures of the so called Avalir. It looks hard to use and of lower quality).
The Filter Queen, I sold those for a week and love them.

Hoover SpinScrub?
I'm a bit surprised anyone would want a SpinScrub. Did they make them differently over there than in the US? I had one for awhile. Reliability of the sprayer and scrubber were awful, it didn't clean that well and it didn't hold much water (though its extraction capabilities were not bad.) I gave mine away and bought a refurb Rug Doctor Mighty Pro. Wasn't cheap, but it sure does clean. With two small children and two cats with challenged digestive systems, a good carpet cleaner is important in my house.......

I was chatting to the Kirby importer here in SA and they said they have a sample one , very interesting he said, all hush hush. There will be one in every country that sells them so it can be approved by the Electrical safety board of that country.
If you like me like seeing new products way before they are launched. It must be fun to work at UL or other safty boards

He is a friend but we don't discuss business much , the vacuums that I sell have cost him many sales as its shows up there ancient old demo test of look what your old vacuum left behind. But I can't wait to see it myself, I really hope they have given it a complete redesign for there own sakes , my shop is littered with Kirby trade inns from people who find them to heavy but more so to cumbersome to use.There sales have taken a big knock, this can be seen by the number of Kirby dealers that have shut down, In Cape Town ther used to be 10 , now there is 1 .
Not every one enjoys vacuuming like we do ( imagine how boring there lives must be ) to them its a chore and when something is a chore you want the lightest easiest machine to use. Just my view not knocking anyone

I use to work for UL and we had several prototypes of the new Kirby come through the office, it is a very different design from the current. Last I knew they were having some issues with some of the accessories drawing too much power away from the motor.
