What Bags? - Also a STEAL!

The Riccar 8 Series uses type B bags where as the Vibrance uses type A bags. Both of them can fit either one but the type B bags are bigger because the 8 Series's bag compartment is bigger than the Vibrance's bag compartment, that's the big reason why Tacony made different types of bags for each one. The type B bags also have what's called a Dust Guard where you can seal the bag collar after removing the bag, the type A bags don't have that.

The blue model is the Vibrance Standard. It's got a 12 amp motor, both the brushroll and bottom plate is metal, and it uses standard electrostatic filters. Simplicity sold the red version of this from the Symmetry models.

Be SURE to tuck the bottom of the type B bag into the bag compartment, so a seal can form between the bag door and the dust compartment. So many people don't take the time, but it results in major suction loss.

You can also upgrade the filtration to HEPA exhaust filtration buy purchasing the Hepa and Charcoal filter set. The filter goes into the bag door at the bottom and has a rubber seal so all the air passes through the hepa filter.

Thanks you Dysonman1

I was wanting to use the B bags because I already have some for my Simplicity 7850. I will most likely upgrade the filtration. I just cant belive how CHEAP it is, such a deal.
