What attachments have been used the longest?

I was just thinking about this today. What attachments included with new vacuums or sold separately have been used the longest?

I know the Kenmore lime and orange canisters use the same floor brush from the 1984 Kenmores, and the purple bagless canister uses the 1984 style dusting brush. Panasonic's MC-CG902 uses the entire 1984 set.

I think some Hoovers such as the Windtunnel may still use the Elite style attachments?

Hayden makes a set of central vac attachments that are very similar to the Whirlpools and Kenmores from the 1960s and 70s but not exact.

Any others?

The deluxe upholstery nozzle that was introduced by Eureka in 1959 with the Golden Crown Roto-Matic survived over 40 years, with the last vacuum to include it being the orange Electrolux Oxygen in the early 2000's. The Roto-Matic had a green one, the Oxygen had a grey one. The nozzles are identical except for the colour.

Yes they were

and also my Oxygen model 6997 has a dark brown color one, the same on my 1989 Express has.
They were white and tan color through the 70's.
Eureka also used the same two dusting brushes, and crevice and floor brushes for a few decades. Lower end models had hard plastic dusting and upholstery tools, while the deluxe had the rubber ones.

I would love to find out what happened to the molds that created that famous Eureka Williams deluxe upholstery nozzle! THAT would be a great vintage piece of vacuum history to own!!!

Powerhead for the Electrolux (80's) and for the Lux Royal (90's)
This was available from the early 80's all the way to the early 2000's.
It's built like a tank, but hard to move on the high pile carpets.

Don't forget Air-Way.

Air-Way's tooling was used for years. The attachments are excellent (IMHO). The attachment caddy could also be stored on the machine or put away, an excellent feat for the Air-Way. Also, they we're made out of metal! Not cheap plastic.. These we're used right up until they went under. I think some have tried to copy, but none will come close to the originals.
