That would be AMAZING! I would love to get my hands on another Classic Omega, Classic III and Tradition. Let me know if you come across any that you think are worth salvaging, I would be more than happy to pay for shipping! I have all of the basic attachments already for the Tradition. Thanks! You can also email me at [email protected] if you have any further questions.

Hey guys,

I don't often post here, but I do follow threads from time to time. This is my favorite Kirby - a daily driver Dual 50. The original intention of this machine was to restore it, but it instead has been nabbed by my mother. She had been using junk before this, and now will not give it back! I just love the lights ~

I LOVE

that carpet!! Is it old, or a reproduction?

Would love to see more photos of it, especially a good clear photo looking straight down at it --- I could use it as a pattern for a web page background!!

Hey Bruce!

I have a complete 561 ensemble as well with those beautiful blue boxes. Unfortunately, water seeped into the basement and ruined the boxes! Needless to say, I had the problem fixed! The 561 itself is somewhat rough and I do not want to send it back to Cleveland to have a spa makeover because they will change the colors. It is a bit rough, but I have the red trim and Greg Nunn has a Kirby dealer in Omaha that restores these machines. As Charles Richard said, that star-burst emblem on the belt lifter is stunning. Beautiful setup!

Fred...

Wow that is a stunning 561 Kirby. I really like the color combination on that machine. There is something you just have to admire about a well polished Kirby.

What is the date for the Kirby 1-C?

Further notes

...as I said above, of all my Kirbys, the late 500 series is my favorite..but I don't use them much for cleaning.

The Model 1-C needs some work --especially the bag! I don't yet know quite what to do with that. Anyone ever restored a Kirby bag?

fkirby511, those are wonderful machines, on the older one, is that extra nozzle used with that brush below it for bare floors?

Heres mine so far.
Tradition, Heritage, and Legend II.
My favourite is probably the Heritage.

Theres another two on their way :)
