There's a liquidation place near me selling these monstrosities for $99 NIB and I was sorely tempted to buy one just for the sake of having one. Does anyone have one and like it? I tried one out at a store a number of years ago and it was terrible. Plus the fact that eventually those batteries are going to give up the ghost whether you use it or not and you'll be stuck with a powerless vacuum.

A few years ago saw one at Linens and things-didn't try it.The Westinghouse "Unplugged" was considered an ineffective vacuum.But first of its kind!! A cordless upright vacuum cleaner!

we're gonna have to page the experts for this one. IIRC, there was a full-size F&G style upright that looked like the cord reel models, except instead of a cord reel, it had a battery box. i havent seen one except in ads when i was a child.

then, in the late 80s/early 90s (?), there was another one, i think. this one was hard case, with fan first. the brushroll, belt, impeller were very much like an Ultra, or f&g cleaner. i DID see this one at a thrift store, but the charger was missing, of course!

somebody MUST know a little more!

Well, if you ever find one, contact me and I might be able to build a charger for you. I have plenty of transformers, cables, ends, and everything you would need to build your own. I would simply need the dimensions/voltage/amperage for the plug/transformer. They sound very interesting. I just wonder how long it would last on a full charge.
