If your like me, old tools, antiques, and anything that has acquired some sufficient age has a curtain allure to it...a curtain something you might say. All these bye-gone objects we procure really never cease in their intended functionality, nor their designed beauty. I think the excitement lies in the quest and the restoration of these forgotten relics, and in a strange turn we all cause that which was once relegated to the dark, dank and forgotten passages of peoples lives - that we collectors now bring forth into a new glorious light...in the brilliant light of all our efforts. These things of old that each of us seek is our own Rembrandt, our Raphael, and I guess if the logic holds our homes are as great painted cathedrals filled with what we all see as the finest of art. I can only surmise that is why I call this my art cabinet, and if your anything like me, your only regret is that you don't have five or six more just like it. But there lies the trap, we can always find more room, when there really isn't none to be found.

Love it. It looks similar to the Maids closet at the Kennedy mansion here in Newport RI. Only it was Hoover a vacuum and Bissell sweeper.

Thank you so very much for your kind words. When I constructed the cabinet I intended it to embody in some way, shape, or form a museum quality in its appeal. Thanks again!
