Tonight I'm extending a big hug to John Lucia for suggesting that we meet in September and go to the Hoover Historical Center.

The year was 1982, we saw both the museum and the factory in a whirlwind trip. Upon leaving Stacy Krammes handed us a list of names, guys interested in vacuum cleaners. A few minutes later I asked John "think we should form a club?" His exact words were "I doubt if anybody's interested, but write to these people and see." I did and look at us now!

On January 2, 1983, the first newsletter for thhe Vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club was mailed. The rest as they say is history.

Thanks John.

Hi gottahaveahoove

Thanks John, but you deserve a hug too for being a big part of our club. We got it started but you and countless others have kept the dream alive for 32 years.

I wish....

I wish I could join your guy's vacuum collectors club. I collect a lot of vacuum cleaners and I am the only kid in town who likes vacuum cleaners.
