Well, I picked up this 516 a few months ago, and was informed that it has the wrong belt lifter on it. Fortunately a kind member here sent me the proper one, so this one is just waiting for some free time this winter for the spa treatment...

Frankenkirby

Well, I picked this up off craigslist the other day, thinking it was a Dual Sanitronic 50, but the craigslist photo is sooo bad I can't quite make it out. Anyway it is actually a 80 with the 50 bag and this Janitoric handle. (I already have an 80 that I've fixed up)

I thought that belt lifter might fit on this machine...

Under the circumstances I feel I have to buy it since the seller held if for me for 6 months while I finally got myself over there... Did I mention that by coincidence the seller is my mom's cousin?

HOLY MOLY!

KEEP THE JANITRONIC HANDLE! One of the rarest commercial kirby vacuums out there! Painted bronze metal. Not polished! A very unique model.

I did look up Janitoric in the search box and noticed there weren't too many entries. I think this nozzle is normal though, so it is the only thing Janitoric about this, I won't throw it away...

Looking at the 516, it's not the belt lifter that's wrong, it's the entire nozzle, the bronze Sanitronic bumper is the clue....

As for the Sanitronic with the Janitronic, yeah, put the handle in a safe place, could be worth a mint in 20 years... :P
