Hi Folks.

I've decided to get my 262 out of the loft for a thorough spa session. I remember taking it apart and sorting the motor out years ago when I first got it, but didn't do much else, so cosmetically, it's a bit pants.

How is best to wash the bag? It's not perished, is quite strong but less flexible than it could be, with one small hole near the top. I'm staying away from the washing machine end, so any tips on hand washing it? Hasn't got to be spotless, just a bit fresher.

On this side of the pond, we have a product called Woolite for fine hand washables. While not a heavy stain remover, would definitely freshen your bag without damage. I'm sure if you don't have it available, there is probably a similar product that would work. Be sure to rinse using two or three fresh sinks of water until it remains clear. I've used it a couple of times on bags and had great results.
