I am wanting to buy a Electrolux 1401b Olympia original motor with mounting plate and whatever is needed to complete a housing I already have. I would consider a beat up vacuum complete just for the motor. I believe the same motor was used in the Silverado and the Golden J. I do not want a aftermarket motor. Golden j....

It's the super J you are thinking of that is like the Olympia and Silverado. The Golden J, or 50th anniversary model, was right before the super J, and looked almost just like it, but in fact it was basically a gold 1205. Completely different motor, and not as powerful as the super J, Olympia, or Silverado. I'm sure you will have no trouble finding a motor. There should be oodles of them around.
