WANT TO BUY: Nice Filter Queen Model 700

I recently found an unused FQ A-88 PN along with some of the less useful attachments. I'd like to find a nice machine to go with it, along with the onboard attachments like the dusting brush, crevice tool, wands, floor nozzle, etc. if you have one for sale, let me know!

Is that a Canadian manufactured set? I remember when the brown Filter Queens were the current model, but the boxes were way different, as was the picture on the package of cones. It shouldn't be too much of a struggle to obtain the brown and chrome LD31X model canister that would go with your power nozzle set - there was one on eBay not too long ago for less than $50. They pop up all the time.

Yes, it's Canadian, as the original owner moved here from Canada and the boxes have all kinds of French writing on them. So would the LD31X be the US manufactured model number?

The US model would be LD31X, which is the dark brown and chrome unit. It differs from the picture in only three ways. Polished upholstery tool (instead of plastic), Bare Floor Brush (instead of felt pad), and a different dirt container decal.

Thanks again Tom, sounds like the US model is what I want then, I'll always choose metal over plastic! Does the LD31X have a wood grain decal?
