Vortech Force Power Nozzle help

Well, I got a vortech force vacuum for $20 from a local vac shop. The machine and hose are in great shape but the power nozzle base is broken. Its the green and burgendy model Tecnica power nozzle. I've called the company three times and no one is ever there and the only service place I could find was in Colorado and he has never touched one and said I was the first person to call him about the Vortech Force since he has been a "service center" for them for a year! If anyone has any info or could help me that would be wonderful.
