Anyone have experience with this? I'm thinking about getting their corded stick. I need a very light vacuum cleaner. It's $39.99 on Amazon.

Thanks!

Never...

Heard of Von Haus, but I do know that little stick vac has been produced for many brands over the years. I'd pass, probably ok but I'd imagine it'll die off after a few years under that brand and then support/parts/filters may dry up. You're probably be better off with something more proven, I'd go for the Eureka Quick Up. Motor driven brushroll, small, light, reliable, and the design has been on the market since the 80's originally. Walmart has them in most stores, if not they still have the cheapest price on them anywhere.

Thanks

That one looks even better. Will order one from Walmart. It should be perfect for what I need. I have a messy parrot, and my Panasonic is too heavy for me to drag out every day.

Eureka Quick Up

I have that exact machine! I absolutely love it for small quick jobs. If the bin is emptied after each use and the filter kept clean it is surprisingly powerful to be so small and the motorized brush roll has an on/off switch so if you don't need it on you don't have to deal with it! For the price you can't go wrong! Oh, and the handle is detachable so if you need a hand vac, it's got you covered!

Von Haus Arrived

In the very well done manual, it clearly says the vacuums are made in China.

My first reaction,as I took it out of the box, was that it looked like a toy. It's small, light, lots of plastic.

It was very easy to put together, and the instructions in the manual about cleaning the HEPA filter and the dust cup are clear. It's nice to see well-written instructions.

So I tried it out. I only did my kitchen and bathroom. They both have tile floors, and low pile throw rugs. It did very well -- the suction was strong, it's light and easy to move, and I am very pleased with it.
