Vintage stereo equipment

Hey everyone,

For those of you who don't know, I love vintage stereo equipment. A few months ago, a friend's mom passed away. Recently, she was clearing out her mom's place, and asked me if I needed anything. I asked if there was any stereo equipment, and she told me there was. They brought it to me last night, and I love it.

The stereo is a vintage 1971 Realistic receiver and record changer yesterday. The receiver is a Realistic STA-36. It's on page 16-17. The changer is a LAB-24A. It is on page 32-33.

I have to say, this is probably one of the best BSR changers I've seen. Not frozen up, and cycles just fine. Even the stylus is in good condition.

Ahh working at the Shack in the 70s I remember many of the STA, stereo tuner amps that we had.

I also got a dual cassette deck, but it isn't an RS brand, and is obviously newer than the rest of the stereo. Don't think I'll be using it much. I prefer reel to reel anyway.

I'm on the hunt for a marantz 2325. You can find them on eBay , but the asking prices are ridiculous

It's my sx-780 she pairs very well with my pioneer hpm-100s and sings rather sweetly

This is the live sound set up ( not vintage) but it gets used for DJ applications and live sound. Sorry if I hacked the thread
