You won't see this one everyday, considering how old it is... this is on a 1976 Kirby Classic III Miracle Head brush. I suspect Kirby did away with this mold in 1979?

Yes, it will be distorted and almost like the 1963 oval logo used from the Sanitronic VII to the Dual Sanitronic 80.

That's a special belt made just for the floor polisher. Note that it's thicker than normal belts and has smooth instead of roughened surfaces, and also that the edges have a slight bevel. I've come across this belt on Kirby polishers as far back as the later 500-series, and up through the Classic III.
