Hello all, new to the forum. I'm not much of a vacuum collector, more general old electronics, but I've recently been given this vintage Kenmore "Two Speed, Twin Fans" model no. 175.3870 upright and I can't find much information on it. This one's in pretty bad shape, a lot of spider webs and dirt packed in. I removed the old bag because it had tons of garbage from who-knows-when left in it.

I come to ask if anyone has any information on this vacuum, its rarity, etc. and whether or not I should sell it, keep it, or do something else. I've confirmed it does work (er, the motor spins up, not sure about the brush or if there's suction).

Thanks.
CJ

I think this vacuum is worth keeping! It’s probably a rarity and of course from the looks of it, it’s from the 70’s. All it needs is a good TLC and can be used again and again. I too have a twin fan vacuum that my mom got me for Christmas, it’s similar to this. Except mines a Singer brand from the early 90’s. Nice find 👍

As with all old vacuums they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. Twin fans are cool machines and came in a variety of colors over the many years they were made. If it works and is mostly original, like this one appears to be, then it is absolutely worth keeping. If you don't want it someone on here might or just put her on Ebay,
