Owners manual and all, 1962...but I payed 8.00 for mine and it looks as good if not better, I also have the pistol grip electric hose with it!...they are having visions of grandeur!
Many great features in those days, imagine, in 1960 Sears was offering a direct connect power nozzle and a vinyl hose with integral wiring, it was many years before Rainbow,Filter Queen or AirWay even had a power nozzle, and then they had pigtails, in 1961 Sears introduced the first pistol grip hose and L shaped power head, I really think they were light years ahead of most other machines.
I DONT THINK EVERYONE HERE HAS A MONEY TREE IN THEIR BACKYARD. THE GUY THAT OWNS THIS SHOP MUST BE IN FANTASYLAND. WHO WOULD PAY THE PRICES HE IS ASKING??
Very nice Kenmore vacuum-but alas it is not worth THAT much.Think these sellers are trying to take advantage of collectors. But collectors are not going to fall for this nonesense. Its like collecting in general-no matter what the item-the collector tries to buy it at the lowest price he can-but sell it at the highest price he can.Seen this on everything from movie posters to guns and lamps to vacuums.Good example of this-bet they bought this machine for a song originally. This sort of mentality is what puts collecting out of the reach of some folks.
