Is there an easy way to remove vintage hose ends from the hose blank? I have an Air-Way model Mark II with the saran hose. The hose looks great but has low suction to say the least. Sorry guys, I see no reason to keep a bad hose for display purposes only and I am not interested in repairing it with "liquid latex". It just makes no sense to me. SO, I am going to rip those ends off and put a nice beige wire-reinforced hose on it. BUT, is there an easy way to get the ends off without destroying the original cuffs? Any solvent that can safely and easily dissolve the old glue?
