Hello, this is my first post here.
Recently I helped clean out a very old home. In the attic I discovered a Hoover vacuum. Tomorrow I should be able to post a picture before I clean the unit.
A little research is pointing me that it is a Hoover Model 28. Hopefully someone here can verify in the coming days or give their knowledge on the vacuum.
Nearly everything in this house, and I mean nearly everything is 1800's to 1950's, and its a 4 story home. We have been finding items in their original boxes/packing that have seen little use. A true pickers dream in my opinion.
If I can save everything I would; however I saved plenty, including this vacuum.
I hope pictures do the vacuum justice because besides dust there is not a blemish, rip/tear, or scratch on the unit. The wiring has no cracks or bends which is very uncommon for old things so thats a plus but may need gone through.
I am disappointed to say that someone tossed the original cloth hose and metal attachments in the dumpster during cleaning, those were perfect as well.
Sorry for the rambling...I will update this thread with pictures and if the Hoover runs I will try and get some videos on youtube of the action.
Thanks
